Post all logs unless asked for specific ones. They are simple text files and compress dramatically when zipped.

I must've omitted the step with Tuning Assistant, so the grid that I have now has no tuning parameters in it -- nothing of frequencies to switch to. Mapping step of digital source is also missing here.
Should I use that Tuning Assistant with that tedious manual ascribing names to 75 channels?

On the other note, it's a shame that a very very decent TV tuner software was dropped in its development and documentation. Reading 2...3 yo wiki is quite misleading, many questions in forums are left unanswered usw.

I'm not sure what you're trying to do with the Tuning Assistant. Its not needed in North America.

No, it wont be to do with the Tuning Assistant. You dont need it.

If you reproduce the problem, and post the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log, then I'll see if anything stands out.

It looks like you've got the device number set wrong in your analog capture source. It should be set to device #1.

Its currently set to device #2, and the app is failing to find the second one of these devices in your machine.

Victory! However, out of all combinations for analog tuner, I made ATI TV Wonder one work (and yes, as a source #1) instead of "normal" so called "ATI 650 Pro" I use for ATSC.
Now the EPG grid works as a charm -- even if OTA (ATSC) programming fails to fill in (I used that html-based xmltv.xml viewer to be sure that my file does contain all the relevant programming -- and then some. However, similar story is with Catalyst MC: no ATSC programming in its Titan-based EPG grid for whatever reason. Mystery wrapped in enigma
