I am from the uk and love gb-pvr, bought a pvr 150, after finding gb-pvr cause it is a great piece of software.

I can't work my vcr anyway

Get a superb picture on the tv with my geforce fx 5200 graphics card, much better than the rubbish supplied by hauppage with the card.

I am running version 0.90.7c and the probs are the tv guide will only show 2-3 hours ahead even though bleb-uk is downloading a week in advance.

Also search guide is only showing up to the letter H.

If someone can help me to resolve these two issues, i will love gb-pvr for ever.

Thanks in advance

Can you try something for me?

First lets start with the tv guide. It only shows two hours unless you scroll. Use the arrow keys to scroll to the right. This might be dumb but you never know. If that does not work hold down ctrl and press the right arrow. It should move you a day in advance.

As for the search guide. Select one letter and push the down arrow a couple of times. It should go down below H. Hit enter when you are happy.

Sometimes the simplest solution is the correct one. Let me know if it works. I like to start off with the simple ones first.

Thanks jorm

Arrow keys, brilliant, i was trying the mouse didn't think of arrow keys, spent ages trying to fix this before posting.

Me thinks this is a stunning program, big thanks to all those involved in making, maintaining and improving it.

A donation is on it's way, worth every penny

Glad you got it working.

If you are new to gbpvr try out the plugins and install comskip to enhance the gbpvr experience.

Loaded Comskip, changed one setting (PAL=25), but left all the others at default. Brilliant! [Image: biggrin.gif]
Two hour long programmes and only one commercial break missed. The others were spot on. One press on the remote, straight to the next part of the programme!
I might even be able to change the settings in the .ini so that it wouldn't have missed the one it did, but I need to study the logs file for a lot longer.
Thanks to jorm for the tip! [Image: cool.gif]
