Hi,

I'm getting the following error when starting config:

[Image: attachment.php?attachmentid=26591&stc=1&d=1274901621]

When I exit config I get an unhandled exception message which is in the attached text file.

Any idea how I can fix this?

If you delete the MVPPosition plugin from your machine, the problem should go away.

I've removed the MVPScreenPosition.dll file from the plugins directory and restarted the machine, but I still get the same error.
I can't de-select the plugin in config, as the list of plugins doesn't get populated.

Do I need to remove some settings from config.xml?

Are you sure you don't have another MVPScreenPosition.dll in there somewhere? Every time I have done it just removing the dll has made it disappear from the config plugins all by itself.

The plugin is one .dll, and I've definitely removed it. I don't know whether it has disappeared from the config plugin or not, as due to the error I'm experiencing, no items whatsoever are appearing in the plugins list in the config app.

All I was trying to say was if you are getting the "same error" it is still a problem with the MVPPosition plugin & it doesn't write anything into config.xml or anything like that to cause the problem.

If you're still getting that error, then you definitely still have the MVPPosition plugin installed somewhere. The error message is coming from inside that plugin, not GB-PVR.
