Working after a year

I've had a PCH and GBPVR for about 18 months. Could never get it working with my Windows 2008 R2 Server and PCH using the network. I did manage to get it working my putting all the files on a hard drive local to the PCH.

Now the PCH is in its final position and connected via Cat5 structured cable to the NPVR server. Thought I'd give the network setup one last try. Finally discovered my problem was the N-PVR.html had my share as W2K8R2 and my media share was actually w2k8r2. Glad it is now fixed and hate capitilisation in *nix systems!

For others my system is Windows 2008 R2 server joined to a 2008 R2 AD domain. I use user and password access rather than Guest

18 months! - I'm sure if you used Martins checker it would have been sorted a bit quicker than that :eek:

As I said got it working with a work-around using internal HDD. It's taken me a while to flood wire the house with Cat 5 cable. But now very happy and can remove the HDD
