I will point out that the coreAVC codec gives PERFECT playback, but just wont deinterlace correctly. If i set deinterlacing up the picture zooms in and you only see a quarter of the image zoomed in. with deinterlacing in coreAVC set to none, the picture is perfect, just lacks deinterlacing.

As i said, if i make a custom graph with coreAVC pinned into ffdshow, it runs absolutely perfectly - i just cant get npvr to use coreavc and ffdshow at the same time.

Are you actually trying to make npvr use two video decoders at the same time? And what Cyberlink video decoder did you try?

yeah, he wants to use coreAVC to decode the video, then post-process with ffdshow to de-interlace it. it's not possible to make NPVR do this as it stands now. sub would have to add support for post-processing.

ah ok - i believe you could do that with gbpvr vs npvr, tha'tll be the difference! cheers for your help guys.
