Hi,
I have a Hauppauge 2250 and am running Windows 7 Home. I'm using the latest version of NPVR (1.5.36) with the latest patches (NPVR 1.5.36 Patches Final). I had a digital QAM channel set up to record from 8:00 to 9:00 and an NTSC analog channel set up to tape from 9:00 to 10:00. The QAM channel recorded fine, but the analog channel recording never started. Upon opening NPVR, I noticed that the status of the recording was failed. I then tried to start the recording again (note that the digital recording was still in progress due to overlap) and it again failed.
Even though the 2250 is supposed to record:
1. Two analog channels at once (which I witnessed in NPVR).
2. Two digital channels at once (haven't tried yet).
3. One analog and one digital (fails for me).
I can only say the case of 2 simultaneous analog recordings seems to work. The problem seems to be related to a digital recording overlapping with an analog one. In the log, it seems that NRecord is attempting to start the recording/encoder. So, I'm wondering if this is a Hauppauge driver issue?
Any help/ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
