Hi All,

During X-mas last year I decided to migrate my computer to Windows7 and hoped it would be an improvement. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get everything working properly as I wanted it to (not just GBPVR). For that reason I went back to Vista and was able to get it all back into it's original state.... almost.

I forgot to backup GBPVR settings before the migration so had to set everything up again by hand. No prob as I had all my notes still available from the first time. However one thing has changed... or not?! And that is that the resolution of th GBPVR menu is off. It isn't crisp at I'm used to but looks as if its in low resolution. It's just the menu (basically GBPVR itself) and not movies (those are fine).

Can any of you perhaps point me in the right direction so I can fix this.

Many thanks.

Thats odd, it should match your desktop resolution automatically. Can you take a screenshot, zip it, and post it?

Hi Sub,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I hope the attached image gives you a clear enough picture of my issue. It's not a big problem but it effects the art cover as well and my wife started to complain.

Not sure if you require this info but just so you know I have 1920x1080 TV and GBPVR is setup for 16x9 widescreen. If you need more info please don't hesitate to ask.

Hope you can give me directions. Thanks in advance

Are you using a multi-monitor setup? ie, desktop PC monitor and a TV or something similar.

Yes I do.

I've got a little touchscreen (800x600) hooked up for my music collection, running AlbumPlayer.

I'm pretty sure it's rendering the display to 800x600.

Are you using the start full screen, on second monitor options in the config app?

Yes I am, how did you guess.... ;-)

The weird thing is though that I have my TV setup in Windows as primary and I had to tell GBPVR to us the second monitor to actually show it on the TV. Never gave it much thought but now that you're pointing me on this I realize that I did.
Making my TV secondary in Windows isn't a preferred option. Can you tell me how to fix this?

Many thanks.

It probably relates to the order you have the monitors. GBPVR expects the primary screen to be on the left, secondary screen on the right.

Then that's it. I indeed have my TV configured to the right-side as this equals my physical situation. I'll swap it this weekend and see if that fixes the issue but looking at your answer I expect it will.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Sub,

That was it.

The resolution looks perfect now. Thanks.
