NPVR 2.03 Pending is Empty

So, as it was working for me till yesterday when I updated to 2.03, I can't have been running the latest beta. Do you know why the Pending heading is still there then?

Ah, sorry I was skim reading. I thought you were saying they werent showing up in the Recordings screen.

Reddwarf is correct - it's not showing them in the tray icon. This was causing performance problems for some users, so it was disabled a couple of months back.

OK. Thanks. Yes I thought that I'd better confirm which Pending I was referring to so my apologies for not being as clear as I could have. Accessing Pending through the taskbar icon worked well for me and I found it a convenient way of keeping an eye on the schedule, but I'll just have to retrain myself. As I don't use NPVR for watching live TV or recordings I only go to the main window when I need to schedule a recording, and otherwise use the taskbar icon to check the status. I may have skipped the previous update because the changelog didn't show benefits for recording, and sometimes they can cause unwanted issues!

Perhaps UJB's Sidebar gadget is what you are looking for? You can try it out by installing it from the Statistics tab of the NEWA web server at http://localhost:8866

I wonder if there is ( or add ) a setting in config.xml to re-enable "Pending recordings in NTRAY" for people with computers that don't have performance issues ?

Thanks Martin. I've checked this gadget out. Unfortunately it doesn't itemise the pending recordings which is what I miss from NPVR.
