I have a few preferred stations for the Net Radio plugin. E.g. in one of the older releases Club 977 (80s channels [Image: smile.gif] ) was on the top which suited me just perfectly. Unfortunatley, this station has moved pretty much down the list when I upgraded to v 0908. Is there a way to move it up?

i believe the order comes strictly from the file names. There is a folder called net radio with all the stations saved as .pls files. If you've added stations that are before the one you want at the top, just chane the file name. If the stations in the way came from the initial install you will have to edit the .pls file. Renaming these files will not work because of something to do with windows installer files. To edit the .pls file, change the extension to .txt, open the text file delete everything and save. Now the station will NOT show up in the net radio list. hope this helps, if not drop me a line.

The workaround for virtually removing station is nice, thanks for that.

With regard to the sort-order, my very first thought that it might have something to do with the filenames. So I looked into the "Net Radio" dir but could not see any logical link between the filenames and the order of station within GB-PVR.

To be honest, at the moment this has come down on my priority list quite a bit, because of the job. Lots of Documentum programming to do, so I copied the pls to my dev machine and listen to things via WinAmp :-)

The order in which stations are listed in GBPVR is strictly from the filenames. Just rename the stations so that they are alphabetically in the order you want and they will list in GBPVR in this order.

Now, what GBPVR shows on screen for the station name is int eh PLS files. These are simple text files. Just open then and you can make GBPVR display anything you would like for the staion name.
