HauppaugeRemoteDirect() does not work

Hi,

when I try to use direct access to the Hauppage Remote control, GBPVR does not start and gives the following message in the log-file:

With using the Hauppauge Ir.exe, it works fine.

Can anyone tell me what permissions are missing for GBPVR?
(I use GBPVR on W2K with normal user settings - everything else does work OK).
