I have the pixelview playtv@P7000, and I cant seem to get the card to work. Could some one please talk me thru the settings under the configuration setting?
And is there online TV Guide for this program for New Zealand?
Thanks.

To be quite honest I dont know if this card works with GB-PVR any more. It did in the very early days, but been a very long time and many have occurred since it was last tried.

You could find some information about XMLTV for New Zealand at http://www.nerdthings.com

I am currenty using the PlayTV@P7000 and have done without
any major dramas since the early versions of GB-PVR.

My only comments is that the FM Radio functionality does not work
(no great loss as far as I am concerned) and I could not manage
to get VBR recording rates going. It only seems to support CBR.
Didn't bother trying too had about that one either....

My setup:
In Recording Source:
Capture card type - PlayTV@P7000 Blackbird
Country - New Zealand
Board Number - Capture Device #1
Source Internal - Tuner
Tuning - Cable
Quality profile Settings - Medium Quality

For Auckland the channels are as follows
TV1 7
TV2 63
TV3 76
C4 85
Triangle 242
Juice 310
Prime 316

Yours will vary if you are not in Auckland [Image: tounge.gif]

As far as XMLTV is concerned, PM me, I have a good setup which I can Zip up and send you.....

PS: Make sure the card drivers are loaded correctly in Device manager. Windows had some generic drivers that it tried to use and because they are called a different name, GBPVR will not be able to "find them" to talk to.
