On the face of it I appear to have the same issue on my pc clent, it arrived with the last release but I also changed to new tuners at the same time. From memory I have the first 4 patches installed from the sticky. I find if i leave it frozen for 10 seconds or so i can then skip forward and it resumes without needing to nuke live tv.
