I can't seem to get the dolby stream on my dvb-t recordings anymore.
It always defaults to the AAC stream.

I have tried to change the selection using the popup menu, but the interface just sits there with a frozen picture & no audio when I try to do that.
I'll post the logs of trying to change the stream when I get home, but is there a config option to force it to select AC3?

Is there also an option to have it only collect the h264 & ac3 streams like you could in gbpvr (and just dump the aac)
I know dolby works, as my hdpvr recordings play fine.

Cheers

Have you got the patches installed? I seem to remember mvallevand had a lockup problem when switching audio streams, and this was fixed with a patch. Might be the same for you.

Try setting: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NPVR\PreferAC3=1

There was never an option for this in GBPVR. If you were doing MPEG-2 and using a .mpg or .dvr-ms mux filter, then it would only capture the specific audio/video stream you'd selected at mapping time. With h264 video though, it'd always use the .ts mux, and would capture all the streams just like it does in NextPVR.

Thanks Sub,

Hadn't noticed hat last patch, stream switching works fine now.

Does this require a machine restart, or just npvr to be re-opened to take effect?

Yeah, I was getting confused with the mapping, thought that dumped the aac when I selected TV3 (AC3) and recorded in TS.

You just need to restart playback. It's read when playback first starts.
