Hauppauge MediaMVP-HD

Does the Hauppaugue MediaMVP-HD work as an extender for use with the dongle and NPVR? I checked first the Wiki and browsed through several threads, but I finally decided to ask the question straight out. Apologies if I missed the answer somewhere!

It's unrelated to the earlier Hauppauge MediaMVP other than by name. It cant be used as an extender with NextPVR.
