Hey everyone, prior to a motherboard failure, I was able to mount an .iso file just fine using NPVR 2.4.3 plus patches. Since rebuilding the machine I have been unable to mount an .iso file via NPVR. I was running NPVR 2.4.3 plus patches through #7. I then upgraded to NPVR 2.5.5 plus patches through #5.

A snippet of the log file is as follows:

[COLOR="#0000CD"]2012-08-08 19:43:55.503 [DEBUG][1] running: K:\ -unmount 0
2012-08-08 19:43:56.303 [DEBUG][1] running: K:\ -mount 0,"\\QNAPNAS\Multimedia\Video\Music\AC-DC - Live at Donnington\AC-DC Live at Donnington.iso"
2012-08-08 19:44:02.810 [DEBUG][1] PlayDVD
2012-08-08 19:44:02.815 [DEBUG][1] Adding EVR renderer
2012-08-08 19:44:03.052 [DEBUG][1] adding audio renderer: Default DirectSound Device
2012-08-08 19:44:03.067 [DEBUG][1] about to load video decoder
2012-08-08 19:44:03.078 [DEBUG][1] about to load audio decoder
2012-08-08 19:44:03.101 [DEBUG][1] K:\video_ts
2012-08-08 19:44:03.101 [DEBUG][1] SetDVDDirectory() failed
2012-08-08 19:44:03.101 [DEBUG][1] SetRoot() failed
2012-08-08 19:44:03.945 [DEBUG][1] restoring last aspect ratio
2012-08-08 19:44:03.971 [DEBUG][1] restoring last aspect ratio

The following is a snippet from my config.xml file:
[COLOR="#0000CD"]<DVDDrive>D:\</DVDDrive>
<DaemonToolsExe>C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe</DaemonToolsExe>
<DaemonToolsDrive>K:\</DaemonToolsDrive>
<DaemonToolsDelay>3500</DaemonToolsDelay>
[/COLOR]

The exe location is correct and the virtual drive that is created is K. I can double click on the .iso via Windows Explorer to mount it and then select the .iso within NPVR to watch it. If I select a different .iso, the previous .iso will not get unmounted so it will play the currently mounted .iso.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

You could try increasing the <DaemonToolsDelay> setting in config.xml. Maybe its happening too slowly now, and the drive isn't mounted in the time NextPVR tries to play it.

I bumped the <DaemonToolsDelay> to 10000 and I even tried changing the drive letter to E (for no particular reason) within Daemon and NPVR and I still only get a black screen.

Here is part of the log file:

Here is my config file:
[COLOR="#0000FF"]<DaemonToolsExe>C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe</DaemonToolsExe>
<DaemonToolsDrive>E:\</DaemonToolsDrive>
<DaemonToolsDelay>10000</DaemonToolsDelay>
[/COLOR]

Any other ideas? Does the unmounting/mounting lines look right in my log file?

Thanks for your help.

I know playback fails, but does the ISO actually get mounted when NextPVR tries to play it?

It was not mounting. I had Daemon create a SCSI virtual drive which does not work. When I have it create DT virtual drive. The .iso image will now get mounted within NPVR.

So, all is good on my side.

Thanks for your help on this Sub.
