At first, my suggestion to sub to use TEXT button on the new 45btn remote by default for television text. 45btn remote doesn't have FUNC button.

And now the question: Is the text-tv stream saved along with inside the mpeg stream or not? If not, is it possible to include it into recording?

PS. Sub, thanks for integrating text-tv into gbpvr, I needed it for a long time!

I'm not familiar with mpeg standard, but wouldn't it possible to have some kind of data stream inside mpeg stream? Or would it possible to save the texttv to some kind of custon parallel metadata stream? ...or to have dumpfile along with mpeg of all texttv pages at this time from this channel?

Its certainly possible, but its just not something I have time to look at now. Remember, I'm just doing this part time, so I dont have time to implement a lot of stuff that I'd like to.

I'm absolutely sure that ideas are always greater than time we have. But don't underestimate the power of community, may be you should make gbpvr semi open source. I'm sure there will be lots of folks out there just waiting and having 15min to patch something. Just like MythTV has and therefore it has grown the best pvr on Linux, so why not GBPVR would be the best on windows? :-)

Nah, not going to happen. I generally dont like Open Source. It does developers out of jobs. There is also a lot components in GB-PVR covered by NDA's.
