I have one of these already but considering ordering a second one since it's such a good deal. $99 - $40 rebate = $59

Even without a cable card these also work as a Clear QAM dual tuner device, so it's a good deal in that regard too.

That's a good question.

It's actually made by Silicon Dust who sells a similar 3-tuner and 6-tuner device, though the Silicon Dust tuners are network devices instead of USB. For a while it actually used the same Silicon Dust download for updating it's firmware and you could even see it on the network using the SiliconDust device manager. They eventually changed that.

I've had mine since it first came out, actually getting a pre-release version for testing. It works well, though it requires an occasion reset - once a month or less. I really feel like I should pick up another one even if at this point I don't need it. It's just such a good deal. Smile
