It should be explorer.exe (just a different sub module than the desktop). I would need to double check that though.

I see a possible entry in the Task Manager: "Windows Start-Up Application". Not sure how to get the name of it's window title...?

Hey McBainUK, you can determine the executable by right clicking the process listed and then select "go to details". This will tell you which specific exe it is. Chances are it will be wininit.exe though.
