Late Night DivX conversion?

Would it be possible to have mpegs converted to Xvid/DivX while I sleep to save on HD space? Or does it take a zillion hours to convert one mpeg?

Also Sub, are you planning on adding native support for DivX?

There is already native support for DivX Encoder devices like the Plextor PX-TV402U, LifeView TV Walker etc.

If you asking if I'll do software encoding to capture divx files from devices like the PVR250, then no I wont be.

If you have a good search there are a few great threads in here about this topic.

Try searching here and google for "DrDivXAutomater" and "AutoGK Script". Auto GK uses XVid and is open source. I havent got too far with this cos im having problems getting decent encodings.
