I have the Colossus on Windows 7 and i had this problem when i first set i up with my Set top box...no audio (detected in AAC) but i had a picture, the problem ended up being that i had to forceSPDIF and plug in the audio wires (White one for left and right audio) of the component cable (even if there not being used) and the Colossus picked up the AC3 audio.
