Hi to all-

Been a long time since I last posted. Been lurking to keep up with the group, but have mostly stayed with WMC7 because of my cablecard stuff and copy flags Sad

Anyway, I am finally getting around to try to copy my family VHS recordings to digital format. I know this is not the best with NextPVR, but need some help. I put in my old PVR150 into my W7-32 bit machine. I then tried to install WinTV, but it won't let me. So I then DLd the WinTV6 software, but for some reason it won't install and says it wants my original CD, which I have, but it does not like.

So- what software would you use to capture from a PVR150? (composite input). Again, this is on a W7 machine?

Thanks!

You would appear to be in a bit of a corner.
I would have suggested WinTV as the best way to get tape to disc - but you can't load it. The problem then arises that NPVR needs the softpvr components of WinTV to be able to use analogue tuners.
There has been recent discussion here about ways to get these components from the download - I don't have a link, but ISTR the wiki was a good spot to look.
Post #2 of johnsonx42's excellent support thread has a pointer to Analogue installation. http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...arted-info

Did you contact Hauppauge? If it doesn't like your CD they may have a solution.

Thanks for the help. I looked through my disks and found one for my 2250 card. It had WinTV 7 and it actually loaded. So I am good to go with that.
