Hi,
sorry if the question is off-topic here.
We use Hauppauge PVR Hardware to capture video from our medical technology application. The video capture part of our application constructs DirectShow filter graphs for video recording.
Unfortunately we are not able to control MPEG encoder parameters (bitrate for video, audio, ...) using standard DirectShow mechanisms. For the Hauppauge WinTV PVR 250/350/USB2 hardware encoders we can use the "IAMVacCtrlProp" DirectShow-Interface as used with the open-source application "WinTVCap".
For the Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 card this mechanism does not work.
Can you give us a hint? How can we control (from our software) the MPEG parameters for the PVR-150 hardware.
Thanks in advance,
Erwin
