Some requests:

Hi, new to NextPVR so forgive me if any of these exist and I couldn't find them:

• Ability to delete all recordings of a certain show at once.
  
• Ability to record a particular show on all channels -- HD only
  
• Option for human readable file names with season/episode - primarily for Plex or other streaming

Well, for number 3 you need to use the Imagegrablite plugin. See the wiki here.

I'm not sure about the other 2 requests.

#1 you can do from the video library, if you set your recording path as a video library path; then if you delete the folder containing the show, it will delete all the files in the folder, and the database will be updated automatically the next time you go into the Recordings list. there is also a delete shortcut, which I find makes deleting multiple shows very quick - just press Record (ctrl-k) and it will delete the show.

#2 would require that the software have some way to distinguish between SD and HD channels, which it doesn't... however, there are manually defined "Channel Groups" which you could use to group your channels by whatever criteria you like; perhaps sub could be persuaded to make it possible to specify a channel group for "All Episodes, All Channels" recordings.

(new feature requests tend to gain more traction if they can be made as general purpose as possible, and work within the existing framework of the program)

I proposed, considering the tuner and the channel as quality factors here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...e-priority. Channel groups wouldn't work for me because you'd still need to have have SD and HD equivalents unmerged.

right, I kinda skipped right past that fact... I was more thinking of the case where you have multiple channels that air different episodes of a show, some of which are HD and some aren't, so you want to tell it to only record from the channels that are HD.

My requests were meant to suggest building this functionality into npvr rather than using workarounds. Re: sd vs hd win mce and sagetv could both do this so I would think this is possible?
