I lost the plot a very long time ago Graham...

You asked to to supply the zipped logs rather than highlight the error sub asked me to do but when I went to do as you asked the error log(s) appeared to me overwritten. So I did a fresh manual updated, zipped the logs as asked, quoted the error time of the manual update/npvr.log error and posted it.

What more should I have done, sorry if I've missed something but anything else please ask me and I will do as you ask, honest

Graham I have no idea, the first post of this thread was that each and every time I did a epg update it would crash, it did this for several days until I reported it to you.

Sub supplied me with the tweaked nshared.dll, the crashes then stopped, no on screen errors shown.

Then, Sub asked the question:
Any error messages in your npvr.log when you try to do the EPG update now? (even if you're not seeing any error on the screen)

So I provided him/you the logs. The 'symptoms' as you put it was that the epg crashed every time I used it with this darn Win10 update build?

I'm a novice here Graham and old, so struggling to understand all the issues I've currently got but I do try to research first to find a resolution without troubling you busy guys, thanks
