npvr refuses to record 'con man'

i confirmed the file was correct, 12/14/2017.
i even tried remaking recording after replacement and same...
still dots [Con.Man]in filename...

hmmm, if you start a recording from livetv, and then exit livetv, and then go and cancel the recording, it deletes the recording file totally!
is this what's supposed to happen?

oh, does it try to rename it to the periods afterwards? that's probably why then...
no, i did a SportsCenter and it deleted that also, so something else wrong here..

Con Man's over now but another comes on again this time tomorrow..

i'm still getting the dots in the con man filenames, did i get the right file?
