Information which may be of help to someone:
For months I have been suffering from Poor Signal and Picture Breakup which I had put down to an inferior loft aerial.
Yesterday I replaced the old C/D Group Aerial (should have been changed to a wideband about 10 years ago) with a shiny new Log Periodic. (still in the loft)
Picture became much better with almost no glitches - - except on one of my 2 USB Tuners (PCTV BVB-T2) where the picture kept breaking up every couple of minutes.
Tried changing aerial leads etc., but nothing mad any difference and was convinced the tuner was dying.
I was about to order a replacement when I suddenly had a light bulb moment and pulled out the wireless keyboard & mouse dongle (2.4GHz ?) that was in a slot between the TV Tuners on a powered hub.
Suddenly all the picture breakup disappeared.
I've now put the keyboard dongle on a different USB slot on the back of the 'puter on a short USB cable to take it a couple of feet away from the tuners and all appears to be good. I'm not sure if it was electrical / RF interference or conflicting on the USB bus.

It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives
