OK, sub, I tried the modules you posted and the search ran to completion but I really didn't sense any change in performance. Maybe the logs tell a different story.

(I intend to try NLite at some point. Any special caveats?)

Can you try again, zip those logs (using the NextPVR button for it), then post the logs again, and let me know the time you tried?

The new logic passes the request to the server, which does the search and returns the results. It made a big improvement here - close to the same speed as doing it directly on a non-client NextPVR. I couldn't see an attempt to use that logic in your logs. I might not have been looking in the right place - so knowing the time would help. (there is a missing nrecord.log.1, which may have had the attempt)
