Using the New Client on Kodi I am having a problem where some recordings default to the Audio Description audio stream. The Kodi Accessibility functions are disabled.
I pause playback and go into Settings and change the audio from NAR to ENG. The other option is to go into Audio Settings and select the English stream and can then save this as the default setting but that does not seem to do anything. Not sure if it is supposed to be making the “English” stream the default or for example making stream 2/2 as the default. On my free to air receiver all channels with two streams seem to have NAR on stream 1/2 and ENG on stream 2/2 but on NextPVR recordings it seems random with English sometimes on stream 1/2 !
At first it seemed to be one particular SD channel I record a lot but I occasionally find others. Also some channels I didn’t realise were defaulting to NAR stream because they were not adding any Audio Description to the audio. It is irritating and after many weeks of testing have no idea where to look! A recording which had Audio Description on the New Client played normal audio on Nlite!
