I tried to update m3u and it just sits there. Do I have to delete the source and reinstall?

Assuming you originally set up the IPTV device using 'Import m3u' (rather than 'Import XC'), then hitting the Update M3U button should show you the list of available channels again, and you can tick any channels you want to import. (existing channels will be unaffected)

If you imported using 'Import XC', then nothing will happen. This sounds like what you're seeing.
