Hi,

First off, what a great piece of software GB-PVR is and the community behind it. I have made a small donation today and when my paypal account recieves some more funds from dodgy ebay sales I'll be donating some more funds - especially if someone solves this little stickler of a problem Wink

Anyway, I have used DVD2MPEG to rip 3 other DVDs successfully.. but the last two have not gone as expected.

All is well until I try to play them back, either via My Video or XRecord - The Film wil start half way through the film and 12sec will be displayed in the OSD timer at the top of the screen? The film carries on as per normal. When I play the MPEG via PowerDVD it plays from the begining just fine?

Ive defragged the HDD thinking that the MPEG was split and GBPVR wasn't picking up the right files? but this made no differance. The other 3 DVDs I ripped before hand work fine.

I'm still to do some experimenting, like seeing what play back is like via WMP9 etc etc. But if anyone has any deas or come across this before I'll be interested to hear! have searched the forum exhastivly with no similer problem mentioned.

Thanks in advance

Mark AKA SwFsnapper

PS No error message is displayed - I haven't checked the log for any hints yet as I didn't think anything would show up.

Sounds like a corrupted mpg file.

Try this tool (courtesy of Stefan)
At http://www.offeryn.de/dv.htm there is something called PVAstrumento,

and scan the file, see if it finds an error at the end to do with timestamp.

I am sure I had something similar early days for an external mpg.
