Okay I am logged in on web but how do I set an individual login? I am new to this service and I am not sure I want to add user name and passwords for my IPTV and cable stuff on a public service that everyone uses admin/password to access.  So do we have an option to setup a personal login with user name and password instead of everyone using admin/password to access server?

Not sure how all this works. Sorry.

NextPVR is licensed for personal use only and it is not public so you can change the user name and password but you do need to trust the people in your own household.

I am asking about public in the way that everyone uses admin/password to access the web server for this service. I am not concerned with household. Sorry I didnt make myself clear.
I thought admin/password would simply get me to screen that would allow me to setup and account with NextPVR so I could input all my personal data to get the channels on your service. I am concerned with an open access to anyone that my data could be comprimised.

Again, I just dont understand how this system works, I found it online and thought I would try it. I like the option to dvr my IPTV channels to my computer so others in household can see the recordings later. Again, sorry i wasnt clearer with my question.

Yes so you can change it from admin/password if you don't trust the people in your house on the settings screen. Check the wiki for instructions https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/Add...s-settings if you haven't already.

Worth noting, it also doesn't allow you to use the default admin/password for remote connections. You effectively have to change the login if you want to access it from outside of your home network.

thank you got it set up. Trying it out. Going to setup with an external HD for recordings. Thank you for the quick replies. Will try the remote access as well so I can record from one service device and connect to that device to watch recordings. Have a lot of excitement for this service.
