I have a GeForce FX 5200 and I am using S-video to connect to my TV. However, if I turn on my PC before turning on my TV I don't get any TV output and I have to reset my PC. Is there anyway to force TV output to always be enabled, even if the TV is turned off on boot, so that when the TV does get turned on it works without rebooting?

Thanks!

Is this the only thing connected to the card? If so it should do it automagicly. You could try setting the TV as the primary display. That would be OK if its the only device connected. If not it wont be ok.

Install the latest Reference drivers from http://www.nvidia.com and in Display Settings, Advanced you should have a tab GForce FX5200 or similar - go to the Tools tab in there and theres a tick box for

"Force TV Detection" this enables the tv output even if the card doesn't think theres one on the end of the cable.

Hopefully this will work for you.
