Sound output

Hi all

Not technically a GB-PVR problem.... but does anyone know if it is possible to output audio from my GB-PVR box to 2 outputs at the same time. I have my HTPC connected to an amp though SPDIF, and currently this lives on for TV sound. I also have the LCD connected through HDMI. I would like the ability to use either depending on the content (news or movie etc) without having to jump into the config and swap things about.

I guess 5.1 sound will complicate things ??

Are you on vista or xp? I'm on XP and do exactly this. HDMI to the tv in stereo, and SPDIF to the receiver. The only change I make is to tell ac3 filter to output ac3/dts when I want the receiver to do the work, otherwise it's primarily sitting in stereo mode and ac3filter is downmixing.

I think vista/w7 works differently.
