Update: I have replaced the mpgmux.ax filter with an older version. I am doing 5 back to back recordings. Thanx to Clanky who gave me a good tip. Will update if all goes well. FYI mpgmux.ax is version Cyberlink 3.5.0.117. This is part of the Powercinema ver 3.0 trial. I installed it on another machine and ripped out the mpgmux.ax file. Should I say this? To late I said it ;-)

Update: Did 5 back to back recordings on different channels and I also did a full start from cold (from hibernate to record). Still OK. I am touching lots of wood here. Lets see.

Thanks for all the info on this thread. I just have one simple question, where does the mux file go? I have the file, but don't know where it needs to be installed.

Cheers

Yup. It does that to me too. I think whoever wrote the version checking bit of the code used the equivalent of 'if VerNum = 9' instead of 'if VerNum >= 9'. Rolleyes

Any chance someone could email me an older version of the cyberlink mux? I only have one machine with media player 10 on it, and i don't wanna muck about installing version 9 to get one file. My email is james at currerweb dot co dot uk.
