When I click the "Play Program" in the web admin, it only works on the local machine. On my other systems I can connect to the web admin, click play program, and it just sits there.

I'd like to get the the file to stream to another system on my network. The M3U file has the right IP address, and there is no software firewall on my GBPVR box.

I've tried Winamp and MediaPlayer, installing all kinds of codecs, and nothing works. Any ideas?

not much experience here but I think you should be using VLC.

I can stream videos via Windows file sharing now after installing ROXIO DVDMax for it's MPEG-2 codec...

Still it seems that the http server isn't sending what I need...

I'll look into VLC...

You need to have VLC installed on the PC you intend to watch from.

And (ISTR) associate .M3U files with VLC
