Quote:i tried that. got "loadlibrary("lame.ax") failed - The specified module could not be found.
You get that error if you type file name wrong, or you dont include the path. You should be using:

regsvr32 c:\path\to\where\I\saved\lame.ax

If you using software encoding (ie, not a MVP/XCard/PVR350 tv out), then it doesnt require lame.ax at all. If you're not using the software encoding, then the 'scan' button will not be shown and lame.ax will be required.
Quote:this brought up the "scan function" but didn't pick up any station except in the 107+ range. the lower range didn't pick up anything and after 107 it picked up fuzz. i got the fm wires hooked up on the pvr350 correctly and it just doesn't work. living in lexington ky we have some very hot radio signals i can't see why it wouldn't work.
Sound like you're out of luck then.

Quote:is this function tested with the PVR350?
Yes.

I dont know, I havent tried it.

Give it a go. If you get audio, then its supported. If you dont, then its not supported.

thanks, that help get the lame.ex installed but i got a new problem
now and i have a theory what is going wrong.

there is not scan button when using hardware so i added
the channels in my area by hand. after that i hit
play and i got sound.

the problem is i'm hearing the audio from that last TV channel
that i was watching.

theory1.
something in config is not set correctly. is there something i
need to do there to add the "radio" tuner. right now the capture source
is set up to work with my "wall cable".

theory2.
i need a driver or something else to get the radio punction of
the PVR350 up and running.

somehow i got to get GB-PVR to wake up or connect to the FM tunner side of the PVR350.

Post you gbpvrrecordingservice.exe-native.log and I'll see if I can see anything obvious. If you get sound, even if it is tv, then everything is hooked up correctly. TV and RADIO are treated pretty much the same, but with different frequencies.

Sorry, I dont know. The two most significant things seem correct, and there is no errors shown.

22:37:35.421 VERBOSE put_Mode(AMTUNER_MODE_FM_RADIO)
22:37:35.421 VERBOSE put_Channel(100100000, AMTUNER_SUBCHAN_DEFAULT, AMTUNER_SUBCHAN_DEFAULT)

This shows it telling the capture device to be in radio mode, and tune to frequency 100.1Mhz

I had the same issues.

It worked for me when I ran the batch file as administrator (vista) The lame.ex is expected to be in system32 but take a peek inside the install batch file to see what the path is coded as. The correct version comes with a windows batch file install for loading it up.
