BTW - have you tried different PCI slots for the 350? It could be an IRQ conflict - worth a try.

I'd personally recommend a Media MVP - length of cable isn't really an issue for UTP.

Re: The Media MVP - I can see it sends video / audio over the home network to the TV & has a remote control (ugh - yet another remote control). Does it allow for me sending the commands back to the Hauppauge card in the PC for controlling the GBPVR program? Right now I use a Radio Shack wireless remote control extender for this purpose.

You can control almost everything in GB-PVR from the MVP remote. The two remotes in my house which are used the most are the one for the TV (switch it on / adjust volume occassionally) and the MVP remote to do everything else.
