I have the Sapphire Threatre 550 Pro. All I want to do is record off external composite and external S-Video. I am having problems setting it up though. I tried adding the source for composite but when I did that the program required that I add an EPG even though its an external source. I have it set up so the channel 3 is composite but it's quite confusing and I have no audio. Can someone please help me out. Thanks.

you should be able to choose 'none' in the EPG-drop down box. and add a capture source without epg.

a few releases back it was also possible to choose 'xmltv' and use a blank as filename (don't know if this still works)

I did set EPG to none, Svideo, external, Canada, Capture device #1 and Ati Theatre 550 Pro. Now I try to click on Recordings or Live TV and I get the following error.

"No Channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility and setup the EPG source. Use the 'Update EPG' button to force the system to import that latest set of channel and programme information."

You can use the add channel button to create a channel called 'SVideo' if you want.

That said, if you're trying to copy things of tape or similar, you'll probably better of using the software that came with your capture card. This is not really what GB-PVR is designed for, and it'll be awkward at best.
