I'm sorry if this is answered elsewhere but I'm not finding anything? I'm sure I'm doing something stupid.

v0.93.10

I see this too. I find that I can use GBPVR for almost everything until I go to play a video, and then the recording shows as 1 second and the MVP hangs. Power cycling the MVP (or killing and restaring GBPVR) fix the problem. My work around is a plug-in that exits GBPVR every day at 5PM (and thus causing the recording service to auto start a new instances) so that when we go to use it at 6 is seems to work (most times). If there are any logs that I could capture and send to help track down this problem I would be happy to do so. it is my one and only problem with GBPVR. If this didn;t happen it would be as close to prefect as anythign can be.

It is very close to being perfect (in fact a couple releases ago I did not have this problem and I think even my skeptical wife thought it was near perfect)...sub has done an outstanding job!!!

Unfortunately, I mostly use my setup to watch previously recorded shows so I can ffwd/skip commercials...since this is what makes the machine hang I'm not able to use it much. However, installing new Hauppage software fixed the prob last night and I was able to watch Mythbusters and skip commercails...we'll see what happens tonight!!

just got back from work and my MVP has arrived. I set it up, installed the Haupp software and tested it. Worked great. I then stopped the MVPmedia service and the MVPmediaSvc service and started gbpvr and its working even better.
I can FF and skip through recorded TV shows and movies with no problems.

I'll report back when I 've had more time to play around with it.

btw - not sure what the other MVP service does - but there were two running.
