zap2it on one machine moved to another?

I only have reliable internet at work right now and I have a laptop which I can use there to download EPG data from zap2it. Is there an easy method to safely move the data to my main server system at home?

You cant do this using the zap2it plugin, but you can configure your capture source to use XMLTV files instead. Set up this way you can then use the zap2it xmltv grabber from work to produce the files and just copy them on to your machine periodically.
