Your fix is working well now, it's recognizing all the comskip markers I've tested so far. Thanks for the update.

(Martin, I'd forgotten process the x-activity for non-user initiated updates, ie on the regular timer calls to update playback progress)

I think I was wrong too since /stream?f= now does seem to be working for recordings and ts files in the video library too so the backend has been improved since the last time I tested. For consistency I'd prefer the recording open but this is still very good.
