the dd_progid is the TMS/Zap2It ID for the episode (which is just the Series ID prepended with "EP" instead of "SH" and appended with a 4 digit episode number (cumulative for all seasons). Schedules Direct does not include the period in the episode number ("EP017386630006").
I'm not sure if sub uses it or not, but you match it to the "zap2it_id" field from the TVDB for the series by replacing the "EP" with "SH" and removing the episode number (and any period): "SH01738663". I don't think they include the Zap2It ID on the individual episodes though, only the IMDB ID. Episode number could be calculated though by looping through the tvdb seasons and adding up the episodes for that season (only one season in the case of Believe).
