As far as I can tell, the only menu function needing focus is the Detail option and it is available with the Yellow key.

Great.. tnx.. didn't know that. Would be a nice feature if the color of the remote key was somehow in visible. Like Music Library. Allways hard to remember what color represents what function.

MusicDLL 0.0.0.59

This as a update to the package you find on Wiki, IF the package on the Wiki has lower version than 0.59.

Just some small things, done for myself but I publish it here, maybe some of you like it too.

- Fix for ScreenSaver, so it is disabled in the plugin when returning to Main Menu and activated when coming back and a key is pressed or mouse click on an item.
- Added file support for .mpg/.avi and .wmv because I personally have some music videos in the music folders. Just in Folder View (MusicScanner not involved) and just plays the video file with the internal video player in PVRX2.
- Added support for key End (hard-coded), which will jump to the end of list.

I'm probably missing something, but is it possible to sort songs in track order (using the track number tag field) instead of alphabetical? I've always liked this ability with Music Library 2, as including the track number in the file name has always seemed too messy for me, but unless I use prebuilt playlists album song order is ignored in the standard Music Library.

In Folder View there is only alphabetic sort based on the foldernames and filenames, not tag read and there is no DB lookup. For the rest of the views, who are DB based, the tracks/files are sorted by Artist, then Album and then Track. The result will show Artist - Album - Track 01, Artist - Album - Track 02 and so on... Sooo, if you have you music as title.mp3 (or similar and with title I mean the song title) they will be sorted by title.

Sooo cool.
Really nice idea with playing music videos. I have now moved my music videos to the music dir.
My daughter watches a lot of music videos on YouTube, so I asked myself, isn't there a directshow filter for FLV video. So I made a capture/grab from YouTube....and the FLV files played fine. I looked at the graph and with the CCCP codec pack there was a FLV splitter filter included. I added the FLV extension to supported Video Libary extension and the FLV files plays fine from GBPVR. Please add support for FLV files.... I will use it and my daughter will be happy.

2008–10–27 : Updated zip on wiki to v0.60
- Added support for Music Videos and End key jumps to bottom of list
- Support for Music Video AVI/FLV/MPG/MKV/MOV/WMV in Folder View

Grab and save YouTube video to HDD and play the in Music plugin.
Maybe FLV splitter and ffdshow needs to be installed

Again chance that flv files can be (or are) piped through ffmpeg for the PCH/MVP?

Ah, I wondered why my remote had stopped working when using the plugin!

This is a small point but it might have been better to have set the behaviour as <DontDisplayOnCharsFreetextInput> so that it responds but doesn't display the +++---+- on the screen.

I had a problem using the Basic skin with the Music plugin. The famous red X appeared when selecting Music.
I found the following in the log file
2008-10-27 21:34:39.342 VERBOSE [1] Skinhelper loading image from file: C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\skin2\Basic\Music\..\_TitleLogos\music_logo.png
2008-10-27 21:34:39.342 VERBOSE [1] file not found

After commenting that row away it seems to work. It seems to already be that way in the blue skin.

Shit....I just dropped the skin file from the new skin I'm working on.
Just fixed it and uploading the plugin now.
