What would you think about an xml type output that lists some of the show statistics (length, fps, etc) and the length and type of each segment.

Off the top of my head, something like:

<segment start="334.34" end="454.34" type="commercial" />
</show>

From that you should be able to create whatever you need but it would require an xml parser.

I'm open to comments/suggestions.

Thanks again for the reply.

I'm a novice user. I don't know how to parse xml. What I intend to do is *visually* read the start and end show segment *frame numbers* and *type* (by hand) the values into a .cpf file template that I have. So, if your output has that information, it will be fine for my primitive ways.

Your example output start and end values are in this format: 334.34

That doesn't look like a frame number. Can you put start and end show segment *frame numbers* into the file?

Finally, 0.6.0 is actually out. I would give a list of fixes, but this is an almost complete rewrite. Many bugs have been fixed. I'm sure some bugs have been created. Give it a shot and if you find a bug, let me know!

As always, upgrades are free. I would recommend uninstalling the previous version first and always, always, do a "Save All" from SAConfig before using a new version.

- Fixed misidentification of the "Always/Never mark last" property.
- Edge Profiles are ignored if they match 100% of the recording.
- Corrected various causes of crashes.
- Fixed "divide by 10" error in chapters.xml output. (Thanks robogeek!)
- Added "Depth of Analysis" to SAConfig. This is to help with over/under segmenting.

Hey Jere - I recently upgraded to 6.1 from 5.8 (i believe) and now SA crashes almost 100% of the time. I am using the free version of SA. Do I have to perform the additional config steps for the free version every time I upgrade?
