Yes, I'll include it in the master bda.ini file for the next release. I made one small change though, I named it [Dvico FusionHD 5 Gold (QAM)] instead. You should change yours to exactly match this to make sure you get a smooth upgrade to the next version.

I am having problems getting the QAM tuner on my m780 working. I have selected the BDA plugin and "Avermedia M780 QAM" as the Device Type. I have SchedulesDirect for my EPG but when I choose "Map digital Channels to EPG Channels" I receive an error about the BDA device not properly configured. and then Config crashes with the following error:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach logs. I'll take a look.

I have the Aver M780 QAM working, but there a few issues I was hoping to get some help with. After MAPPING the Digital Channels that I receive over my Comcast Cable I quickly tried them out using the LiveTV mode. The first Digital Channel (QAM) I tune in works great. However, after that, any other Digital Channel I attempt to tune in via the EPG displays the first channel I tuned in. If I exit GBPVR and then restart, I can then tune in another, different Digital Channel.

I have similar problems when I try to record a Digital Channel. The first QAM recording works fine, after that any other Digital recordings results in Snow/Static noise - as if the Tuning Request failed.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you get snow/static, then it isnt using QAM. Its using the device's analog side.

My guess is that you've got channels enabled in your analog capture source that you dont really receive via the analog side of this device.

Ooops! When I was recording these Digital Channels we had an ice snow during the recording process that knocked out the cable for several hours. Apparently that was what I had recorded! I apologize for not suspecting that might have been the problem.

Anyway, the cable is up and operating right now and I just retried tuning multiple Digital QAM Channels and I still have that channel-changing tuning problem. Whatever channel I select from the program guide after the first channel tuned in, I get first channel, not the new one I select from the Guide. I've attached an image of what I'm seeing. I first tuned into FoodTV and then selected a FOX channel (FOX 43), however, the tuning request didn't work. It remained tuned to the first channel.

Surprisingly, when I'm in the Config.exe and Mapping Digital Channels to the EPG, it works flawlessly!

I don't know if it matters, but here are some of the Digital Tuning Requests parameters I cut-n-pasted from the config. That FOX 43 channel is the WPMT-HD line.

Here are the log files. I changed the channel via the EPG about 4 times. I only changed successfully if the channel I was going to was an Analog channel.

You'll need to set your logging level back to 'debug' and reproduce the problem then repost the logs.
