reven,
So far I am really digging your plugins. I have a question about whenever I rip a DVD in file mode instead of iso mode (i prefer this method so that I can compress them to fit on a 4.7Gb DVD) and attempt to view it through the gbpvr application. Whenever I use Video Library and browse through my ripped DVDs it shows a video file in the MovieTitle folder. I'm able to launch the video and play it as if it were a DVD. Whenever I browse through My Videos, I am able to see and play ripped DVDs that are in .iso format. However, whenever I browse the DVDs in file format I'm able to browse all the way into the VIDEO_TS folder which is of course empty unless I add the .VOB extension to the config. Is there a setting I can change to allow this or is this a developer only change? Also, can I make the "Rip DVD" button point to the default DVD Ripper application; or at least be able to choose the default DVD folder to rip to instead of subfolders? Keep up the great work

i only included the iso rip format because less files (only one, well two) its cleaner, and you can then burn the iso to dvd easily. i have added basic support to play back dvds ripped in folder mode, you just have to select the folder and press ctrl-o or the "no name button"/func on your remote and it will pop up, and should say "play dvd folder". that will try and play the folder as a dvd. im not sure about ripping to folders instead of isos, but ill think about it, just playing around with dvd burning right now. if i do do it you will have to just check a box in the config and it would rip that way instead, so you couldnt rip one into an iso or one into folder willy nilly, you would have to choose a format and stick with it (which in all likely hood, would be the how everyone would do it).

Awesome, I got the DVDs in file mode to play....still can't get any audio from my SPDIF out on my soundcards.
Incidentally I must have a different hauppage remote than you, I don't have the function button. I have the 45 button version that comes with the PVR-150. I just programmed the "Guide" button to act as CTRL+0. Thanks for the help.

i too have the 45 button remote (well both remotes), i set the tv button to ctrl o, guide to ctrl green and radio to ctrl-b. those seem quite well when using page up/down and guide for the mini guide etc.
the audio problem is something sub would have to fix, its out of my hands, sorry.

i forgot to remove the @ character when saving the directory view/pin number.
so the name Rams_@_EJers_October_D_CAAE.mpg is causing problems. Rams__EJers_October_D_CAAE.mpg will work. ill do another build later tonight and fix the bug. |
