I'm using GBPVR09516 and experience this minor problem too.
The stuttering video and audio occurs on scheduled recorded shows using my custom quality settings, which I have duplicated from the medium setting except for the audio bitrate and sample rate, which are 128 and sample 44khz. Now if I schedule record shows with the default medium quality setting, it's all sweet.

The DirectX 9.0c version of this file is notorious for causing this problem. I recently replaced it (using an older DX 9.0b version) and have noticed a marked improvement in my recordings. Also, MS has recently released a "fix" for this problem. The link below contains additional information on the subject. Hope this helps.

daphatty, thanks but swapping the quartz.dll with the DirectX 9.0b version didn't do it for me. Same problem :/

Im having the same problem - the mpegs recorded will not playback through gb, but will with the native WinTV2000 program that comes with the PVR150. Im using PVR150 with a pentium4 3mhz and 140gb drive -
Thanks in advance for any assistance. fwiw, in confi, I have it set for default - software playback - the pvr350 option won't work (as I assume it shouldn't). Michael

Quote:22:14:38.640 VERBOSE getSetting(ListGraphFilters)I suspect it is either the Ligos Audio Decoder, or Ulead Video Decoder that is causing your problems. Neither of those a commonly used.

Thanks for embarassing me with the "EastEnders" listing It was playing at the time and I used ENGTY's suggestion(?) of using the default MEDIUM setting.I think those audio decoders were installed by the pvr150 wintv2000 app. Im not normally a windows user- do I just need to remove them (or run an uninstaller?) Thank you for solving my problem. It's interesting that it doesn't happen with the native PVR software (or maybe it's not )best, Michael

Well, I uninstalled / removed Ulead - it still stutters and doesn't playback -Ill check the log file - I did a search for LIGOS on my system and found no files. As always, any advice is appreciated.
