Yep, I know, that is why it's weird. By the way thank you for having tried on your configs... I'll wait for my computer's soul to be kind enough to let me display detailed tv guide.

Thank you for having tried to help me !

Just to make a test, would one of you attach a xmltv file in his language, the one he is using for example ?

Well ok it's working now... For some reason I don't know, pushing on the "update EPG" button wasn't working (I believe), I had actually the old information already saved before when i runned the grabber without the "--slow" parameter.

I deleted all my xmltv files, emptied the EPG info (again...), then relaunched the grabber, then redefined the xmltv file path in gbpvr, reclicked on "Update EPG" button and it seems to work now !!! I have the details !!

Thank you again for having helped me guys !

You're doing a great job.

ah jep, sorry. "update epg" adds completely new entries to the guide only. it does not 'update' allready existing ones.
AMD 1600mHz, 512 M RAM, 20+160 GB drive, Hauppauge PVR-350 + PVR-150 + PVR-150MCE, Win XP Pro SP3, using software decoding.

There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

yes, there is: search the forums for -onlyupdateEPG for example. my solution is to write following lines to the updateepg.bat:

gbpvr.exe -onlyemptyEPG
gbpvr.exe -onlyupdateEPG

this does the job and your recordings won't be lost.

you need to create it. if you want anything else to happen before the epg is updated you can/need to add those things to the updateepg.bat, otherwise not.
I'm not always right

i have created a bat file
i didn't lose any of the recordings
but i am not sure that it updated correctly
(it didn't change the scedule of the world series "game 7 " was still listed if needed )

i figured that would have been taken out after the sox won in 4

anyway to check if it updated
