lol - I forgot the forum now allows attachments, which you could have done just as easily.

Anyway, if any PVR350 users are experiencing this 100% CPU usage, please replace the existing black.mpg with the one attached below.

Thank you guys. The problem really was the black.mpg file. I replaced it with 50MB mpg from liveTV. I'm using PVR-350. By the way what is the purpose of black.mpg ?

Great release sub.

I basically need a video file at least a few seconds long to correctly initialize the PVR350 decoder. When I replaced one of the Hauppauge components in this release, the old black.mpg no longer seemed to be long enough. The new black.mpg is pretty much what it says, a mpeg video of blackness, a few seconds longer than the old one.

Hey, I'm just glad you guys aren't paying customers, so I can take my sweet time to fix anything that pops up... [Image: tounge.gif]

I'm a paying customer [Image: cool.gif] well, a donating customer anyway...did you see my post in the new version thread about after exiting one program in a group it exits back to a different group of programs? Lets squish that bug for the next version [Image: tounge.gif]

I guess we have different interpretation of donating vs paying...that said, I did see your other post and I'll try to take a look tonight.

My black.mpg file must have been kept from the previous version since it's only 1.9 meg and I've not noticed any increase in cpu.

And, I was waiting for the update before I donated so expect my paypal payment this week.
Thanks sub for all you do.

Yes, the old 1.9mb worked for fine for me as well, but we noticed during the pre-release testing that davisj36 had the 100% CPU problem, which is when we decided to try a longer mpeg2 file. I'm not sure why the smaller file works sometimes but not others.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I've corrected the deployment script so that it deploys the new larger file in the next release.
