fb_de made a great suggestion. No one has really tackled a widescreen skin yet. You've already got several great skins, why not create an additional widescreen version? The pasture/cow one would be awesome but that's just me Smile

"I currently have enough space left on my small web site for one more theme and I feel in need of a change."

i would hate for you take some of that down, do you need some room? i can set you up with a folder on my www.5united.net site so you can have some room to breath. email me at postaldave@yahoo.com if you want an account.

Thanks Dave (or is it Posatal?) but I'm not gonna take anything down anytime soon. I appreciate the offer, and if I find myself in a crunch, I just might take you up on it.

Thanks again,
David

As more and more households have wide screen TV's, a skin for these would be great.
Really large fonts are a pre-requisite, too, as my TV is quite far away.

cheers,
Frank

I don't have a wide screen HDTV so it would difficult for me to do a good job.

I agree w/ the simple req people. The only reason I don't end up using skinds is not wnating to chase them around afte versions and plugin updates. Not sure how doable that is, since that's pretty much just going the background only, which is what I do instead.

I've always hoped for some kind of master color scheme setting that GB would have and all plugins could point to, so you could create custom schemes more easily. I think something like that is out of the skin lvl of requests.

What I've done here for skins is took a combination of elements from the FBHV skin and the standard Blue. strip out all of the non essential graphics and images, cut down the use of lots of color to make it as plain as possible. Getting rid of task images and cute little icons that did nothing allows more room for what's needed on the screen. Using the MVP exclusively I've used the space to make the fonts larger and since it's very plain it makes it easy to just change the background once in a while, well actually it's a wife request to change the background once in a while. Smile

I've taken it about as far as my limited ability will allow but it's readable, functional and more or less pleasing to the eye. If a background using a shot from last years vacation is all that i need to do for a little WAF, it's a small thing. Smile

Has anyone used one of the Collection skins on an MVP?

If so, how does it look?

I don't have an MVP so I'm clueless.

Thanks,

I haven't been through a new release cycle yet and I'm not looking forward to it!
